Penny Caulder Dixon
1962-2021
Penny served as an administrative assistant working alongside her brother, Phillip; and sister-in-law, Yetive for over 18 years. A lady with a larger-than-life personality, Penny was a true people person who never met a stranger and always had a smile. To know her was to love her.

Mr. Larry K. Curtis
January 13, 1947 - March 17, 2015
Mr. Larry was a dedicated full-time employee of the funeral home for 32 years. He wore many hats during his years at Miller-Rivers-Caulder. From working visitations and funerals to helping with lawn maintenance and grave opening, Larry could do it all. His eye for detail and compassionate heart will never be forgotten.

Mr. Charles Griggs
February 4, 1942 – July 8, 2013
Mr. Charles was known for his easy-going personality and infectious smile. It was impossible to be in his presence and frown. The staff of Miller-Rivers-Caulder will remember our fun-loving friend who brought so much life to our funeral home Christmas parties and get-togethers.

Mr. Gilbert McLain
October 2, 1930 – January 12, 2013
Mr. Gilbert seemed almost a permanent fixture to the funeral home. Rarely did a family or visitor walk in and not be greeted by name. He knew every face and every family. Mr. Gilbert will always be remembered for having “a handshake for the men and a hug for the ladies.”

Mrs. Margaret White
September 15, 1928 – January 10, 2009
Mrs. Margaret, our beloved receptionist, was a true Southern belle. A dignified and classy lady who greeted each person by phone or in person with her warm smile and kind heart. She was a treasure to our office.
