William "Benny" Sellers

Mr. William “Benny” Sellers, age 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Funeral services will be 3 o’clock PM Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church by Pastor Phil Wyatt with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2-3 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Sellers was born January 5, 1944 in Chesterfield County, SC, a son of the late Duncan and Emma Leigh Tucker Sellers. He retired from the Chesterfield County bus shop where he was the Parts Manager for many years. A member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Mr. Sellers served in many positions over the years including deacon, choir member, and led the Social Committee with his loving wife. Benny enjoyed camping, traveling to the beach, and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Mills.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Lois Mills Sellers; son, Jason (Mechelle) Sellers of Ruby, SC; nephew, Mike (Nicole) Mills of Ruby, SC; in addition to numerous cousins.
