Mr. Thomas David Faile, age 52, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 21, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2021 at Southside Ministries by Pastor Scott Alexander. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the church.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. We also ask all guests and family members attending visitations and services to please continue social distancing and face coverings are strongly encouraged.

Mr. Faile was born August 2, 1969 in Pageland, SC a son of Bub “Pete” Faile and the late Elizabeth Chappel. He was a 1987 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and a former member of the SC Army National Guard. Mr. Faile was a former employee of Refreshment Services. David was a faithful member of Southside Ministries where he served as former assistant Pastor.

A very humble and simple man, Bro. David was an ordained Bishop, but preferred to be addressed as just “David.” He, along with his wife, founded New Day Ministry, and was the author of “Revelation of Faith.” He was an avid reader, who enjoyed studying God’s word, drawing, restoring antique cars, and listening to music. David will be fondly remembered as a man who never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. Outside of his love for God, nothing came second to the love for his family.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 25 years, Sarah Bessett Faile; son, Josiah Faile of the home; father, Pete “Pops” Faile of Lancaster, SC; brother, Buster (Renee) Faile of Hartsville, SC; sister, Bonnie Morris of Lancaster, SC; mother-in-law, Rebecca Manukas of Burnsville, NC; father-in-law, William Bessett, Sr. of Monroe, NC; brothers-in-law, William A. (Hillary) Bessett, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, and Aaron Manukas of Burnsville, NC; and his four-legged children, “Gunner,” and “Avery.”

For those wishing to be a blessing to the Faile family, donations are being received on their behalf at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) of Chesterfield, SC is serving the Faile family.
