MANNING – Ramona Lynn Gaskins Ridgill, 62, widow of David Leslie Ridgill, Jr., died Monday, June 13, 2022, at Pawleys Island.

Born March 9, 1960, in Chesterfield, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Gaskins and the late Ruth Elizabeth Best Gaskins. She was a member of the Virginia’s Pride Garden Club and Manning First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Ramona was also preceded in death by her brother, Vernon L. Gaskins; and sister, Nancy Ruth Gaskins.

She is survived by two children, Jarred Boan (Brandi) of Branchville and Janice Boan Mabrey (Alex) of Columbia; two stepchildren, David “Lee” Leslie Ridgill III (Christina) of Boiling Springs and Whitney Ridgill Graham of Sumter; eight grandchildren, Eric Ridgill, Mariah Ridgill, David “Leland” Leslie Ridgill IV, Cole Graham, Reed Graham, Lizzie Boan, Kimney Foil and Mark Foil; a brother, Edgar Gaskins (Susan) of Knightsville; two sisters, Miriam Gaskins of Garden City and Mary Johnson (Johnnie) of Cheraw; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Phillip Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1096 Webber Street, Manning.
