Macy Blackburn Crook

Jefferson, SC

Mrs. Macy Blackburn Crook, age 85, entered into rest on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2020 at Jefferson Town Cemetery by Duane Stegall and Dr. Rick Hunter. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Crook was born January 9, 1935 in Chesterfield county, a daughter of the late Roth and Dorothy Rowell Blackburn. She was a longtime member of Jefferson Baptist Church, where Macy taught Sunday school and loved singing in the choir.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crook was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Cull” Crook.

Survivors include her brother, Dewey (Patsy) Blackburn of Pageland, SC; sisters, Myrtis McCray of Monroe, NC, Carolyn Platts of Mint Hill, NC, and Eva Appel of Spring Arbor, MI; also numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice
