Henry Frank Threadgill

Cheraw, SC

Mr. Henry Frank Threadgill entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home. The family will hold a private graveside service at 1 O’clock P.M. on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens by Dr. Lindsay Powell. Services will be streamed live on the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Facebook page. The family will hold a public memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Threadgill was born December 15, 1930, in Chesterfield County, SC, a son of the late Henry C. and Ola Therrell Threadgill.  Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a faithful member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church where he was a past Sunday school teacher. Frank loved his family, his Lord, and his church. Mr. Threadgill loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed times spent with them. In 2014, Frank lost a piece of his heart when his wife of 62 years, Audrey C. Threadgill, went home to be with the Lord. Not a day has passed that Frank hasn’t missed and thought about the love of his life.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Audrey C. Threadgill; daughter-in-law, Linda Threadgill; and siblings, Mary Ruth Brock, Nelson Threadgill, Pauline Oakley, Grady Threadgill, and David Threadgill.

Survivors include his son, Daryl Threadgill of Easley, SC; daughters, Hope (Mike) Crawford of Six Mile, SC, and Joye (Wayne) Caulder of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Daniel Young, Steven (Ashley) Young, Austin (Karen) Caulder, Garrett Caulder, and Matt Threadgill; great grandchildren, Bennett and Truett Caulder, Sean and Jay Threadgill, and Amelia and Abigail Young; sister, Christene T. McPherson of Cheraw, SC.

The family would like to thank the staff of Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield for the exceptional and loving care shown to their family. Also, a special thank you to Frank’s nurses, Jessica Blackwell and Beverly Vaughn, for their love, care, and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield, 205 E. Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709 or Lower Macedonia Baptist Church, PO Box 1594, Cheraw, SC 29520.
