Mr. Dwight Henry Hudson, age 73, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 in Kershaw, SC. The family will host a private memorial service at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church.

Dwight was born on July 4, 1946 in Jefferson, SC to the late Carl W. Hudson and Ruby Wright Hudson. He married Judy Payne on June 1, 1967 and together they have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Dwight was a member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in the garden, fishing, hunting, and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; 3 children, Christy (Jaimy) Cooper, Rachel (Kirby) Tolbert, and Rochel (Christopher) Snipes; 2 sisters, Mary Cooper and Rachel Helms; and a brother, Bruce Hudson.

Dwight is preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Renee Hudson; 2 brothers, Carl Hudson, Jr., and Charles Hudson; as well as a sister, Ruth Faile.
