David Lee "Day Day" Johnson

Mr. David “Day Day” Lee Johnson, age 39, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Fairview Baptist Church by Pastor Kyle Oliver and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 2:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson was born December 7, 1979 in Monroe, NC a son of Jerry and Margie Weatherford Johnson. He was an employee of Dixie Lawn Service and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a man with a green thumb inherited and taught by his mother and grandmother. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and especially his nephews.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rubin & Tressie Johnson, and Evans & Catherine Weatherford.

Survivors include his loving parents, Jerry and Margie Johnson of Mt. Croghan, SC; sister, Tracie (William) Ross of Mt. Croghan, SC; brother, Joey (Michelle) Johnson of Pageland, SC; nephews, Matthew Ross and Luke Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
