Mr. David Jeffery “D.J.” Callen, Jr., age 30, entered into rest on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2020 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, the family will continue celebrating D.J.’s life at the home of Kandyce Cail, 3995 Turnage Road, Patrick, SC.
Mr. Callen was born May 30, 1989 in Philadelphia, PA a son of Benjamin Steven and Theresa Victoria Stone Dimento. He was an avid gamer, from playing video games to pokemon, D.J. enjoyed it all. He had a love for “all” music but preferred his own style. Although D.J.’s life was short in years, he lived it to the fullest and made a lifetime of memories with his family and especially his friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Dimento, Margaret Dimento, and Donna Stone; and uncle, Charles Dimento.
Survivors include his loving parents, Ben and Theresa Dimento of the home; brother, Ben Dimento, Jr. and fiancée, Kandyce Cail of Patrick, SC; sister, Miranda Dimento and fiancé, Willaim Gore of Chesterfield, SC; grandfather, Terry Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; nephews, Aiden, Jackson, Carter, A.J. “Son”, Braxton, Gabbie, and Ryllie; special friends, Terrie (Addam) Crocker of Patrick, SC, Waylon, and Cy; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Melissa Russell and Krista Lambert, and the entire staff of Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield for their support and love shown to D.J. and his family.
