Mr. Charles Martel Roscoe, 86, of Hartsville, went to be with The Lord on Saturday morning, July 18th, 2020, while at home.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday morning, July 21st, 2020, from West Hartsville Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Kevin Walters and Reverend Dave Worthington will officiate with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
A native of Chesterfield, Charles was a son of the late Winston D. & Nancy Culley Roscoe.
Being a Veteran of the United States Army, Charles had a great love for our country. He was a chaplain with the local VFW and every Veterans Day and Memorial Day, he would place flags at the graves of our deceased Veterans. He was a retiree of Sonoco Products with over 40 years of service and was a member of West Hartsville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughters: Beth Roscoe of Hartsville, Joye (George) Milton of Ocoee, Florida and Kelly (Neil) Romero and Lafayette, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that he greatly loved; special friends, Julia Winborne & Ray Petty.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Amy Blanton Roscoe; daughters, Carole Roscoe and Charla Roscoe.
