Charles Joseph Wedekind III

August 3, 1941 ~ March 17, 2021 (age 79)


Chesterfield, SC/Baltimore, MD
   Mr. Charles Joseph Wedekind III, age 79, entered into eternal rest on W ednesday , March 17, 2021. The
family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

   Mr. Wedekind was born  August 3, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland a son of the late Charles Joseph and
Constance P . Dziatkowski Wedekind Jr . Charles, better known as Chuck, and sometimes known as
Charlie or Shuffles, will surely be missed.  His heart was tremendous and his generosity was second to
none.  Chuck loved spending quality time on his boat, enjoying a cold beer (or two) accompanied by
good food with his friends and family .  He enjoyed his time spent on the farm and time spent with his
children and grand-children. Chuck also had a special place in his heart for his family and friends at the
Indian Guides who loved his famous Mint Juleps!

   In addition to his parents, Mr. Wedekind was also preceded in death by his brother , Brian Wedekind.
Survivors include his children; Chip (Debbie) Wedekind of Chesterfield, SC, Kurt (Laurie) Wedekind of
Westminster , MD, Kirby  Anne Calleri of Ellicott City , MD, Eileen Steer of Marriottsville, MD;
grandchildren: Kevin (Chrissy) Wedekind of Bel  Air , MD, Karlie Moore of Ellicott City , MD,  Amanda
(Brendan) DeRiso of Ellicott City , MD, Chase Wedekind of Charlotte, NC, Ty Wedekind of Westminster ,
MD, Sarah Steer of Marriottsville, MD, Megan Wedekind of Charlotte, NC, Emily Steer of
Marriottsville, MD, Bren Wedekind of Westminster , MD, and Grant Steer of Marriottsville, MD;
brothers: Dennis Wedekind and Mark (Laurie) Wedekind both of Baltimore, MD; Marie  Ann Wedekind
of Baltimore MD and numerous nieces and nephews.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’ s choice.
