Willie McIntyre

Mr. Willie McIntyre, age 92, entered into rest on Friday, December 30, 2016. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tracy Gooding with burial to follow in the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the chapel.

Mr. McIntyre was born February 28, 1924 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Will and Elizabeth Grooms McIntyre. He was a life – long farmer and worked in the pulpwood business for many years. Willie was a member of Bay Spring Baptist Church. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and gardening. Willie was the last surviving member of his immediate family, and was preceded in death by 2 sons, Harvey Lee McIntyre and Alvin Lee McIntyre.

Survivors include his daughter, Lee (Steven) Ray of Chesterfield, SC, daughter-in-law, Virginia McIntyre of Bennettsville, SC; 6 grandchildren and 1 on the way; also numerous nieces and nephews.
