William Thomas "Billy" Curtis

Chesterfield, SC   

Mr. William Thomas “Billy” Curtis, age 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. The family will hold a private remembrance service at a later date.

Mr. Curtis was born September 28, 1961 in Lansing, Michigan a son of the late Ralph Curtis, Sr. and Marion Simmons Curtis. He was a retired employee of McWhirter Grading Company where he was affectionately known as “Roller-Man.” Billy enjoyed volunteering at the Chesterfield Food Bank and helping out at AutoCare of Chesterfield. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and taking care of his fur-babies.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Curtis was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Curtis, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Roger Schember.

Survivors include his son, Uriah (Fawn) Megenuph of Grand Ledge, MI; grandchildren, Gracie, Eli, Liam, and Khalliope; siblings, Richard (Kallie) Curtis of Pageland, SC, Katherine Schember of Jefferson, SC, Jason (Alicia) Curtis of Cheraw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chesterfield Food Bank, 103 S. Page Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
