HISTORY: Mr. Diggs was born October 28, 1943 in Wadesboro, NC, a son of the late William Carson and Christine Ratliff Diggs. He was a graduate of Anson High School and was a retired conductor with CSX Railroad with 30 years of service. Carson was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving during the Viet Nam War. He enjoyed fast cars and boats, deep sea fishing, NASCAR racing, football, camping, and was an airplane pilot.

Son: Scott (Theressa) Diggs of Mt. Croghan, SC
Daughter: Teresa Diggs and Phil Bryant of Lugoff, SC
3 Grandchildren: Clifton (Crystal) Mangum, Cody Diggs, and Haley Diggs
1 Great Grandson: Caston Mangum
Brother: Ronald (Diane) Diggs of Lilesville, NC
2 Sisters: Linda (Billy) Lee of Lilesville, NC and Karen Diggs of Charlotte, NC
