VISITATION: will be 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Monday, December 7, 2009 prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Coates was born December 21, 1941, in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Douglas Ted and Juanita "Honey" Ballard Coates. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a retired Plumber. Frankie was a U. S. Air Force Veteran.

2 Daughters: Sheri (Carl) Rogers of Hartsville, SC and Karen (David) Helms of Rock Hill, SC

2 Brothers: Glynn (Lynne) Coates of Virginia Beach, VA and Michael Coates of Bennettsville, SC
Sister-in-law: Wanda Coates of Bennettsville, SC
Stepmother: Josephine Coates of Cheraw, SC
Stepbrother: Marion (Jonna) Gates of Columbia, SC
