FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 pm, Friday, March 18, 2011 at Center Grove Baptist Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the Church Cemetery
VISITATION: is 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Center Grove Baptist Church
HISTORY: Mrs. Sikes was born May 3, 1923 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Jesse Preston and Fannie Kay Knox Williams. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Viola was married to the late Leroy Sikes and was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jim, Bill, and Sharp Williams; 2 Sisters, Dollie Mae Curlee, and Minnie Lee Morton; 2 Daughters, Sara S. Snipes, and Frances S. Hudson; and by a grandson, Chris Sikes.
SURVIVORS:
5 Sons: Leroy (Jean) Sikes, Jr. of Mt. Croghan, SC, Jimmy Sikes of Chesterfield, SC, Bobby Sikes of Mt. Croghan, SC, Donnie (Vicky) Sikes, and Mickey Sikes both of Ruby, SC
1 Daughter: Carolyn S. (Melvin) Weaver of Pageland, SC
1 Sister: Rachel Collins of Rockingham, NC
Also: 13 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren
