HISTORY: Mrs. Gilmore was born April 9, 1928 in Jefferson, SC a daughter of the late Luke and Lela Oliver Sullivan. She was a homemaker and devoted farmer's wife. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family. Mrs. Gilmore was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church. Viola was married to the late Jeff D. Gilmore and was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Olin Sullivan; and 1 sister, Jean Jordan.

1 Son: Jeffrey Gilmore of Mt. Croghan, SC
2 Daughters: Rita (Leslie) Tucker, and Jeanette (Wilburn) Johnson both of Ruby, SC
2 Brothers: Joe (Betty) Sullivan of Jefferson, SC and Heyward (Brenda) Sullivan of Cheraw, SC
3 Sisters: Camilla Rollins, Martha Blanche Miles, Sabren (Carroll) Reese, all of Jefferson, SC
1 Brother-in-law: David Jordan of Lancaster, SC
1 Sister-in-law: Estelle Sullivan of Jefferson, SC
Also: 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
