Tracie Lynn Ross

Mt. Croghan, SC

          Mrs. Tracie Lynn Johnson Ross, age 48, entered into rest on Saturday evening, September 24, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church by Pastor Kyle Oliver and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

          Mrs. Ross was born July 16, 1974 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of Jerry and Margie Weatherford Johnson. She was a 1992 graduate of Central High School and earned her associates degree in accounting from King College. Tracie was a devoted teacher’s aide serving in both N.C. and S.C. Public Schools. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she served as former Sunday school teacher and G.A. Leader. A lady who enjoyed fishing, working in the garden, riding four-wheelers, and listening to music, her most enjoyable times were spent with family, especially her son, Matthew.

          Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rubin & Tressie Johnson, and Evans & Catherine Weatherford; father-in-law, Fielding Scott Ross; and her brother, David Lee “Day Day” Johnson.

          Survivors include her husband of nearly 29 years, William R. Ross of the home; son, Matthew William Ross of the home; parents, Jerry and Margie Johnson of Mt. Croghan, SC; brother, Joey (Michelle) Johnson of Pageland, SC; nephew, Luke Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
