Tony Carroll Brooks, Sr.
June 29, 1961- April 10, 2025
Tony Carroll Brooks passed away April 10, 2025, at the age 63, in his home in Myrtle Beach, SC, surrounded by his loving family.
Tony was born on June 29, 1961 in Chesterfield, SC to Jimmy and Sybil (Tarlton) Brooks, who are now both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his Step-Father Joe Winburn, brother Jimmy R. Brooks of Cheraw, SC, brother-in-law Stephen Rivers of McColl, SC and brother-in-law Michael Rivers of Bennettsville, SC.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Brenda Brooks of Myrtle Beach, SC. He also leaves behind his son Tony Brooks, Jr. (Ashley Moore) of Patrick, SC. His brother Mick (Donna) of MO. His sister-in-law Angel Rivers of McColl, SC, sister-in-law Shirley Rivers of Bennettsville, SC. Many nieces and nephews he loved very much, Tasha, Kiley, Davan, Angela, Amber, great nieces and nephews AJ, Sophia, Emelia, Emmett, Elijah, Virginia and Amelia. Tony loved his fur grandbabies Mac, Raven, Gibbs, Daisy, Rocky and Amethyst. He was heartbroken when his fur babies passed Coco and Baby, they brought so much love and joy to Tony and his family.
Tony lived life to the fullest and his smile would light up any room he entered. He loved spending time on the golf course with his close group of friends, just to list a few, Harry, Phil, Duane, Rob, Matt, Chris, Jeffrey, Dennis, Billy, James E, and so many more over the years. He touched the lives of so many, especially some close friends, Harry Hope, Diane, Lisa, Julia and Leon. He was a devoted Gamecock fan and loved watching them play and watching all sports. Tony had a beautiful soul and would help anyone that needed it. He was a Project Manager for many years and took great pride in his work. Tony loved many things but above all he loved his family.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amedisys Hospice. They went above and beyond with their compassion and care during this difficult time. A special thank you to Kelly R, Kelly Spencer, Jennifer, Pamela and Chaplin Mark.
Although Tony is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
