HISTORY Mr. Rivers was born November 9, 1948 in Chesterfield, SC a son of Lou Ella Mauldin Rivers and the late John S. Rivers, Sr. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and attended Florence-Darlington Tec. Mr. Rivers was a retired truck driver and a former employee of Ina USA and Delta Mills. Tommy was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church, Chesterfield Masonic Lodge #220, and was a former member of the SC National Guard. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister Mary White.

Mother: Lou Ella Rivers of Chesterfield, SC
1 Brother: John S. (Barbara) Rivers, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC
5 Grandchildren: Dakota, Taylor, Savannah, Riley, and Katlin Rivers
3 Nieces: Beth Knight, Sherry Bunting, and Christy Rivers
1 Nephew: John S. Rivers, III
