Mrs. Thalia Sings Sellers passed away on April 5, 2022 at McLeod Health Cheraw. She retired from Burlington – Highland with over 30 plus years of service. Before her illness she enjoyed flowers, watching the birds and her favorite tv shows; Family Feud, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Larry’s Country Diner. On Sundays she enjoyed watching church services, as she was not able to attend church.
Mrs. Sellers was kind, humble, and would help anyone if she could; no matter how people treated her. She said you treat people the way you would want to be treated, because you reap what you sow. She taught us to be selfless, not selfish, with her heart of gold. So, thank you mom for giving me the things money cannot buy.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her parents, James Maurice and Nezzie Virginia Lee Sings; husband, William Dwight Sellers; son, Doyle Keith Sellers; and brother, James Maynard Sings.
Survivors include her daughter: Aimee Sellers of Ruby, SC; daughter of the heart: Tina Ginnetto of Hamlet, NC; grandchildren of the heart: Miranda Ginnetto of Hamlet, NC, Vinny Ginnetto of Hamlet, NC, Matthew (Dawn) Malzer of Rockingham, NC and Elyse (Adam) Malzer of Laurinburg, NC; sister-in-law; Mary Evelyn Sings of Cheraw, SC; good friend, Tenita C. Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; brother-in-law: Jerry W. Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
I would like to thank Tenita, Tina, Aunt Evelyn, and my late Uncle Maynard for all their help through the years. Although Uncle Maynard is no longer with us, I know if we were still here, he would have been right by her side and done anything her could for his sister.
Memorials may be made to Westfield Creek Baptist Church, 316 Westfield Church Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520.
~ This beautiful & heartfelt tribute was lovingly prepared by Mrs. Sellers daughter, Aimee.
