VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Stewart and Cindy Gibson's home, 2232 Freeman Road, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Whitaker was born September 1, 1941 in Kannapolis, NC a son of the late Alonzo Leslie and Callie Jane Bowden Whitaker. He was a retired painter and an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron and Gene Whitaker; and by a sister Bonnie Gainey.

1 Son: Ronald (Millie) Rowan of Wadesboro, NC
2 Daughters: Melissa (Chris) Clark and Teresa (Tony) Gulledge of Chesterfield, SC
3 Brothers: Theron Whitaker of Concord, NC, James "Bill" (Faye) Whitaker of Tega Cay, SC, and Bobby S. (Brenda) Whitaker of Glencoe, KY
