VISITATION: will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Laney was born June 1, 1913 in Monroe, NC a daughter of the late George and Nancy Preslar Knight. She was a homemaker and loving Mother and Grandmother. Mrs. Laney was a member of Twin Pines Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Minor Laney; 3 sons, Pete, William, and Edward Laney, 3 daughters, Joann West, Lessie Hargett, and Katherine Outen; and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

3 Sons: Roy (Betty) Laney of Pageland, SC, Bill (Joann) Laney of Lancaster, SC, and Richard Laney of Pageland, SC
3 Daughters: Carolyn Oliver, Louise (Louie) Nichols, and Frances Stevens all of Pageland, SC
Also: Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren
