Susan Caroline O'Neal

Ms. Susan Caroline O’Neal entered into rest on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the age of 64. Plans to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.

Ms. O’Neal was born on April 8, 1961 in Darlington, SC; “Caroline” as she was affectionately known by, was a daughter of Joel O’Neal and the late Mary Linda Horne. Ms. O’Neal will be remembered by those closest to her for her immense love for her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Ms. O’Neal was preceded in death by her brothers, Jackie Horne and Stevie Horne.

Survivors include her father, Joel Horne of Florida; daughter, Rachel Medford of Patrick, SC; granddaughters, Addison Rainey and Mallory Pierce; sister, Cheryl (Joey) Evans of Darlington, SC
