Mr. Steven Ray, age 74, entered into rest on Friday, August 27, 2021. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the First Southern Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Ray was born September 1, 1946 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Marion and Becky Kuhn Ray. He was a long-time employee of Bell Atlantic. Ray was a man with a creative streak who enjoyed building things. He also enjoyed relaxing with a fishing pole or golf club in his hand.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Ray of the home; Children, Richard Ray of Chesterfield, SC, Matthew Ray of Myrtle Beach, SC, Anna Ray of Chesterfield, SC; grandson, Dustin Ray of Maryville, TN, brother, Rodney (Ruth Ann) Ray of Maryville, TN; and sister, Vicky (Charlie) Buell of Barbersville, WV.
