FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 16, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Bennettsville, SC

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mrs. Smith was born November 2, 1933 in Orangeburg, SC a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Edwins Briggman. She was a retired private duty caregiver. Mrs. Smith was married to the late Fredrick Leon Smith and was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Myers.

3 Sons: Charles Eugene "Chuck" Smith of Cheraw, SC, Samuel Dean "Sam" Smith and Michael Smith both of Bennettsville, SC

4 Daughters: Donna S. (Randy) Wallace of Bennettsville, SC, Rebecca S. (Walter) Arnette of Dillon, SC, Dee S. (Ted) Rodgers of Rockingham, NC, and Ellen Smith of Bennettsville, SC

3 Brothers: Charles "Sonny" Briggman of Lexington, SC, William "Bill" Briggman of Orangeburg, SC, and Wesley Briggman of Stockton, CA

1 Sister: Jacquline Townsend of North, SC
