HISTORY: Mrs. Lawrence was born September 19, 1935 in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Fulton and Sally Calder Turnage. She was a graduate of Draughon Business College and was a retired employee of Delta Mills with 38 years of service. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Patrick Baptist Church, a former member of the Patrick Town Council, and a member and former coordinator with the Patrick Pine Straw Festival. Shirley enjoyed spending time at the beach and talking and being a friend to everyone. In addition to her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by her daughter Marcy Lawrence.

1 Son: Harry R. "Bob" Lawrence and wife Angie of Hartsville, SC
2 Grandchildren: Taylor D. Lawrence and Jamie L. Perkinson
1 Sister: Effie T. Hunter of Pageland, SC
