Mrs. Sara “Fuzzy” Shaw Sellers, age 73, entered into rest on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Shiloh United Methodist Church by Pastor Fred McDaniel and Pastor Deborah Armstrong with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. (For those who are uncomfortable attending the services inside the church, you are welcome to park in the church parking lot and listen to the service live via an FM radio transmitter set to 94.9 FM) The service will also be broadcast live on the Miller Rivers Caulder Facebook Page beginning at 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Sellers was born November 13, 1946 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Robert Roy and Mary Luella Tucker Shaw. A lifelong member of Shiloh United Church, Fuzzy volunteered her time for activities at church, Camp Salkehatchie, and school activities. Perhaps her greatest volunteer passion was serving as the Chesterfield soup kitchen coordinator. She loved serving members of the community at the soup kitchen and working beside everyone who would volunteer. Fuzzy loved to host get-togethers, her animals, and shopping. Fuzzy enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sellers was also preceded in death by her siblings; Dale, Gene, Buddy, Wayne, Betty, and Debbie.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Jimmy R. Sellers; daughter, Kathy (Johnny) Sellers Tapia of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Justin Tapia and Eva Tapia; sisters, Joker, Sister, Toonie, Bonnie, Annie, and Rachel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
