FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Friendship United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2016 prior to the service at the Church

HISTORY: Mrs. Kelly was born October 9, 1926 in Morven, NC a daughter of the late Paul and Nettie Adams Williams. She was a business college graduate and a cosmetologist for 64 years. Mrs. Kelly was owner and operator of Hazel’s Beauty Shop and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Ruth enjoyed crafts and growing pretty flowers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Joel Stone, a daughter, Cheryl Stone Barefoot, and by her brother C. P. Williams.

6 Grandchildren: Rodney (Tina) Stone, Laurie (Jim) Tarleton, Joel (Kristen) McLain, John (Ashley) McLain, Paul (Tamara) Barefoot, and Alison Barefoot
