DECEASED: Mrs. Ruth Harrington Adams, age 85, died Sunday, February 9, 2014, at her home.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: will follow in the David's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
VISITATION: will be 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 15, 2014, prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
HISTORY: Mrs. Adams was born December 31, 1928, in Wadesboro, NC, a daughter of the late John Ross Harrington and Ethel McKnight Harrington Melton. She was a homemaker and for many years was a child care provider in her home.
Ruth was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Murrie M. Adams and by her sister, Betty H. Soloman.
SURVIVORS:
Son: Ronald "Ronnie" M. Adams and his wife Teresa Diane Adams of Chesterfield, SC
3 Grandchildren: Cierra Jade Adams, Chris (Kristen) Guinn, and Rhonda Guinn
4 Great Grandchildren: Ava Guinn, Taylor Guinn, Kohana Jacobs, and Mason Rollings, who is on his way.
