INTERMENT: will follow at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Ratliff was born July 5, 1920 in Chesterfield County, a son of the late David Mack and Claudia Poe Rodgers Ratliff. He was a 1941 graduate of Mt. Croghan High School. Mr. Ratliff retired from J. P. Stevens with 35 years of employment, after which he was employed with Chesterfield County for 18 years. He was a faithful member of Oakland Baptist Church, where he served as former Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Choir Director. He was a Master Mason for 63 years with Chesterfield Masonic Lodge
#220. Mr. Ross was outgoing, caring, eager to help, and never met a stranger. In death and in life, Ross was a generous man. He never faltered in his faith in Christ; even in the face of death. He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam Stroud Ratliff.

1 Daughter: Patricia Elaine (Lamar) Smith of Midland, NC

4 Grandchildren: Ginger (Chip) Gulledge, Channing (Samantha) Smith, Aggie (Richard) Moore, and
Katelyn Ratliff

4 Great Grandchildren: Carly Gulledge, Cory Adams, Ethan and Rhett Moore

1 Sister: Lena Brooks of Chesterfield, SC
