Robert L. Sellers

Mr. Robert L. Sellers, age 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020, from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ricky "Sweet" Jenkins and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sellers was born June 20, 1938, in Chesterfield County, SC, a son of the late William Ross and Eula Bessie Jordan Sellers.  He was a self-employed mechanic for 40 years.  Known as a jack-of-all-trades, Mr. Sellers enjoyed restoring old tractors, gardening, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by a brother, William Sellers, and by two sisters, Juanita Chappell and Frances Oliver.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Maggie Sellers, of the home; three sons, Lenson (Marcel) Sellers of Ruby, SC, Steve (Jessica) Sellers of Patrick, SC, and Scott Sellers of Ruby, SC; grandchildren, Shirley (Eric) Brown, James, Hunter, Jessi, and Harmoni Sellers, Jayden and Kayleigh Sims; great-grandchildren, Heather Williams, James and Tyler Gibson; great-great granddaughter, Madison Penny; sisters, Elizabeth (Steve) Haynes of Lancaster, SC, and Bernice Poston of Cheraw, SC; brothers, James (Ruby) Sellers of Great Falls, SC, Dairl (Beverly) Sellers of Wallace, SC, and John (Arhonda) Sellers of Richburg, SC; sister-in-law, Mary (Allen) Burch of Chesterfield, SC; numerous nieces and nephews including special nephews, Carlis and Jackie Sellers; and special cousin and friend, Maynard Hancock of Ruby, SC.
