HISTORY Mr. Smith was born March 26, 1928 in Chesterfield, SC. a son of the late Robert James and Dora Birtie Oliver Smith. He was a retired Farmer and Road Construction employee and was a former member of the S.C. National Guard. Mr. Smith was a member Oakland Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was married to the late Edna Dretzel Smith and was also preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Ansel, T.D., and Dock Smith
