Robert "Robbie" Julius Oakley, Jr.

Mr. Robert “Robbie” Julius Oakley, Jr.  age 63, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Mcleod Health-Cheraw. The celebration of life service will be private.

Mr. Oakley was born on August 4, 1962 in Chesterfield, SC. He was a son of Robert Oakley Sr. and Bobbie Lisenby Oakley. Robbie was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, where he was an active participant in various sports. A familiar figure in town, Robbie was well known for his distinctive black van and his affection for cars, particularly his Corvette and Camaro. Mr. Oakley was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. He had a passion for caring for his dogs, grilling, fishing and taking his boys to the golf course. His favorite pastime was spending quality time with his children, especially cheering them on during their sporting activities.

Mr. Oakley was preceded in death by his beloved pet parrot, “Elvis” of over 20 years.

Mr. Oakley is survived by his sons, Trey Oakley of Ruby, SC; Chase (Jannessa) Oakley and Nicholas (Alana) Oakley, both of Chesterfield, SC; parents, Robert Sr. and Bobbie Oakley of Chesterfield, SC, siblings, Lisa (Dr. Gabe) Simpson of Cheraw, SC; Beth (Danny) Pearce of Chesterfield, SC.
