DECEASED: Mr. Robert L. Miles, age 75, died Sunday, September 6, 2009.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at Fork Creek United Methodist Church.

BURIAL: to follow in the Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: The family will receive family and friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall and at other times at the home, 19109 Angelus Rd. Jefferson, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Miles was born March 7, 1934, in Jefferson, SC, the son of the late Rufus Leonard and Winnie Elizabeth Rollings Miles. He was a retired supervisor with Caro-Knit and a former member of the SC National Guard. Mr. Miles was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church. Robert enjoyed watching nascar racing and ballgames. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Carroll D. Gregory.

1 Grandson: Daniel Miles Gregory of Chesterfield, SC
3 Step Grandsons: Carroll Dean (Michelle) Gregory, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC and Tommy and Joel Johnson of Jefferson, SC
1 Sister: Nettie Miles Beverley of Jefferson, SC
