Mr. Richard W. Sanders, age 69, entered into rest on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. A private burial service will be held at Sandy Plains United Methodist Church, Morven, NC. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sanders was born October 13, 1947 in Johnstown, PA a son of the late William and Mary Schier Sanders. He was a beloved member of the Chesco family for over 28 years. Richard enjoyed watching television and his favorite outing was going to Wendy’s. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

He is survived by his brother, Robert (Helen) Sanders of Howell, NJ; nephew, Robert A. (Maureen) Sanders of Jackson, NJ; niece, Lorie (Greg) Sailer of Manahawkin, NJ; great nephews, Devin and Trevor; great niece, Sydney; also his extended family at Chesco.
