FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Patrick Presbyterian Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the Patrick Cemetery
VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home
HISTORY: Mr. Lewis was born December 30, 1952 in Greenville, NC a son of the late Paul Lewis, Jr. and Louise McLain Lewis. He was a retired Maintenance Manager with Galey & Lord, with 25 years of service, and a member of Patrick Presbyterian Church. Mr. Lewis was a sports enthusiast, who enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR racing, and was a Die-Hard South Carolina Gamecock Fan. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his beloved pets that were like family, "Missy" and "Buddy".

Wife: Janet Grant Lewis of the home
2 Sons: Richard D. Lewis of Patrick, SC and Roy (Krystal) Shelley of Bennettsville, SC
3 Grandchildren: Adrian Lewis, Alliyah Lewis, and Hunner Shelley
1 Brother: Wendell (Pat) Lewis of Asheville, NC
Also his loving pets: "Duck"," Precious", and "Angel"
