INTERMENT: will follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Rev. Goodson was born January 20, 1929 in Darlington County, SC a son of the late Rivers Leon and Hattie Brown Goodson. He was a graduate of Fruitland Bible Institute in Hendersonville, NC and was a retired Baptist Minister. Rev. Goodson was former pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the founding pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Rev. Goodson was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Cora Lee Brigman Goodson; son-in-law, Butch Hedden; and three sisters, Pauline Ruther, Florie Yates, and Lois Byrd.

3 Sisters: Grace Pace and Liz Webb of Hartsville, SC and Tillie Faile of Leslie, SC
