FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: to follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Smith was born June 27, 1936 in Pageland, SC, a son of the late F.E. "Bud" and Ella Moore Smith. He was a retired machinist with General Motors, and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Ray was a U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed traveling. In addition to his parents, Ray was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 2 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters.

1 Son: Mark (Sandra) Smith of Rock Hill, SC
2 Daughters: Robin Rae (David) Alcala of Albemarle, NC and Tammy (David) Hillsamer of Harrietta, MI.
3 Grandchildren: Adam David, Nicole Rae, and Aaron Daniel Hillsamer
2 Brothers: Jessie W. Smith of Chesterfield, SC and Thomas Smith of China Grove, NC
