FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: will follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, with Military Honors
VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2013 prior to the service at the Funeral Home
HISTORY: Mr. Melton was born October 4, 1949, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Clyde Elbert and Nellie Rebecca Allen Melton. He was a former welder with A. O. Smith Corp. and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Ray was a U. S. Army Veteran, and served his country during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, Ray was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nyokia Hodge Melton and by 2 sisters, Mildred M. Montgomery and Loretta M. Sims.

Brother: William "Bill" (Betty) Melton of Coaling, AL.
2 Sisters: Judy M. (Alonzo) Adams of Patrick, SC and Margaret M. Mill of Chesterfield, SC
Also several Nieces, Nephew, and Cousins
