Mr. Randy Wayne Jenkins, age 72, of Mt. Croghan, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2026, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Fairview Baptist Church by Pastor Kyle Oliver and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home and other times at the home.


Randy was born September 26, 1953 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Repsy and Mae Watkins Jenkins. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Randy served his country as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He held various jobs throughout the years and was the owner and operator of R.J.’s Welding.


A lifelong devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church, Randy served as former Deacon, and Men’s Sunday school class teacher. He never missed an opportunity to witness and share his testimony of how the Lord saved him and changed his life.


Fishing was Randy’s favorite pastime and he also enjoyed NASCAR racing, WWE Wrestling and tinkering around in his shop working on his numerous projects.


In addition to his parents, Randy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde, Elmer, Bobby, and David Jenkins; sisters, Betty Stirewalt, Frances Smith, and Shirley Clark; nephews, Junior Steen, and Lynn Stirewalt; nieces, Gale Rivers, Evelyn Smith, and Wanda Stirewalt; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Bill and Ruby Sims.


He is survived by his wife, Linda Sims Jenkins with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on March 18, 2026. Also surviving are his sons, Richard (Stacy) Jenkins, Brad (Candi) Jenkins both of Mt. Croghan, SC, Billy Jenkins of Jefferson, SC, and Joshua Jenkins of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Tyler (Kyla) Jenkins, Lizzy Hayes, Kendal Jenkins, and Dalton Jenkins; great grandchildren, Bentley, Everett, and Gentry Jenkins; brother, Jerry (Carolyn) Jenkins Mt. Croghan, SC; sisters, Eula Steen of Ruby, SC, Linda Owens of Cheraw, SC, and Elma Knight of Jefferson, SC; sisters-in-law, Kathy S. Grooms and Angela (Junior) Faulkenberry both of Ruby, SC; along with a host of extended family and friends including his nephew and fishing buddy, Robbie Jenkins of Mt. Croghan, SC; and his faithful companion, “Blackjack.”


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, c/o Stacy Jenkins, 6178 Airport Road, Mt. Croghan, SC 29727.
