Randolph "Dolph" Sutton

Mr. Randolph "Dolph" Sutton, age 88, entered into rest on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Danny Chavis and Pastor Neal Nolan with burial to follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sutton was born September 12, 1937 in Marlboro County, SC a son of the late Woodrow and Maggie Horne Sutton. He was the owner and operator of Sutton’s Body Shop and Wrecker Service for many years. Dolph was known for his willingness to help anyone in need. He was a member of Cheraw Church of God where he faithfully drove the church van for many years. Mr. Sutton was very instrumental in the organizing and founding of Wallace Rescue Squad. His hobbies included fishing and dirt track racing, but his greatest joy in life was being “Papa Dolph” to his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sutton was also preceded in death by his brothers, Buck Sutton, and Johnny Sutton; sister, Lou Roue Sutton Lee; 2 sons, Randy Sutton, and Anthony “Scott” Sutton; and granddaughter, Amy “Sunshine” Sutton.

Survivors include his sons, Randolph (Sierrika) Sutton, Jr. of Cheraw, SC, and his mother, Dawn (Tommy) Taylor of Ruby, SC; and Blake Sutton of Wallace, SC; daughter of the heart, Miranda (Taylor) Perkins of Wallace, SC; numerous grandchildren including, Tinzlee and Blazlee Sutton; sister, Elsie Ray Sutton Rutan of Fayetteville, NC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
