HISTORY: Mrs. Ellis was born August 23, 1935, in Iron City, TN., a daughter of the late Floyd and Annie McCain Grimes. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and was a former R.N. with Tuomey Healthcare Systems in Sumter, SC and was a retired R.N. with Chesterfield County DHEC. Rachel was a member of Chesterfield Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Rachel was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Ellis

Son: Dr. Gregory C. (Tamara) Ellis of High Point, NC
Daughter: Marian Leigh Jones of Ashland, OR.
