HISTORY: Mrs. Rivers was born August 19, 1938, in Pageland, SC a daughter of the late Jack Daniel and Allie Jordan Evans. She was a graduate of Pageland High School and a homemaker. Phyllis enjoyed reading, NASCAR racing, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth D. Evans.

5 Grandchildren: Tasha (Angel) Sierra, Tony Brooks, Jr., Kiley Rivers, Davan Rivers, and Erick Price
2 Great Grandchildren: A.J. and Sophia Sierra
1 Brother: Mitchell Evans of Pageland, SC
4 Sisters: Gail E. Jenkins of Florence, SC, Judy E. Jordan of Pageland, SC, Sue E. Dawley of Lancaster, SC, and Pat E. Moore of Rock Hill, SC
