HISTORY: Mrs. McCoig was born December 27, 1941 in Twilight, West VA a daughter of the late Alvia and Vivian Workman. She was a retired employee of Champion International in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. Mrs. McCoig was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by a son, Dwayne McCoig, and her daughter, Renee McCoig.

Beloved husband of 50 years: Ronald G. McCoig of the home
1 Son: Russell McCoig of Chesterfield, SC
4 Grandchildren: Debbie McCoig, Vanessa (Michael) Zemba, Ronald O'Neal McCoig, and Elisha McCoig
1 Great Grandson: Connor Dwayne McCoig
1 Brother: Harold Workman of West VA
1 Sister: Sandra Agusta of West VA
