Mr. Perry Caston “Cass” Potter, III, age 58, entered into rest on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Bennettsville by Pastor Vaughn Chichester with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

Mr. Potter was born September 14, 1958 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Perry Potter, Jr. and Louise Potter Hunt. He was a self-employed painting contractor and carpenter. Mr. Potter was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and travelling. Cass loved his family and was a very proud father and grandfather. He will be remembered as a man who loved to talk and never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Cass was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Beverly Potter.

Survivors include his 4 sons, Eric (Tiffany) Potter of Myrtle Beach, SC, Toby Potter of Ohio, Dylan (Amber) Priest of Albemarle, NC, and Kerry Hudson of Rowland, NC; 2 daughters, Cassie Perkins of Kansas and Brittany Potter of Cheraw, SC; 15 grandchildren, and 1 on the way; 2 sisters, Jean Bass of Texas and Debbie Richardson of Virginia.
