HISTORY Mr. Turner was born in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late John Wesley "Jack" and Pearlie Mae Burr Turner. He was a retired Building Contractor. Mr. Turner was a lifelong member of Oakland Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon since 1959, and also served in various other offices in the church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II and a member of the American Legion Post 74. Paul was married to the late Kathleen Griggs Turner and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Barbie Davis; 3 brothers, Hardy, Coleman, and David Turner, and by a sister, Naomi McDonald.

Special Niece: Alice Baynes of Greensboro, NC
