Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Yoos Stegall, age 86, entered into rest on Friday evening, June 6, 2025 with her family by her side. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Sharon Memorial Park-Charlotte, NC at 12:00 PM. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00-7:00 PM.
Mrs. Stegall was born on December 19, 1938 in Charlotte, NC to the late Walter and Vorner Yoos. “Pat”, as she was affectionately known by was the proud owner and operator of the former “Burger Shop” in Chesterfield, SC and was a gifted artist, which was evident by her love for restoring old dolls and in painting stunning portraits of nature, local buildings and landscapes. Her portraits not only displayed the beauty of the things that she painted but also reflected her attention to the smallest details. Mrs. Stegall was an avid horse back rider and participated in many 4-H horse shows as a club leader and sponsored several horse shows throughout the years, winning multiple awards in various competitions. Mrs. Pat had a passion for shag dancing and she along with her husband were founding member of the “Boppers” Shag Club in Charlotte, NC, and also the Lake Wylie Shag Club and the Sandhills Shag Club in Rockingham, NC.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stegall was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Floyd.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Stegall of the home, daughters, Beverly (Walt) Borek of Greenville, SC; Sandy (David) Brown of Cheraw, SC; son, Donald (Lucy) Stegall of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Angie Driggers, David (Genny) Driggers; Caitlin (Brad) Cox; 5 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Libby) Yoos of Charlotte, NC; sisters-in-law, Dianna Moore of Charlotte, NC and Sara Elizabeth (Larry) Baker of Dallas, NC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Center Well Home Health for their exceptional care of Mrs. Pat and a special “thank you” to nurses Jenna Owens, Katherine Rivers and Hannah.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Center Well Home Health, 515 Market St, Cheraw, SC 29520.
