FUNERAL SERVICE: will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery
VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the funeral home
HISTORY: Ms. Martin was born March 9, 1917 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Charles Franklin "John" and Nezzie Teal Stafford. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries with 35 years of service. Ms. Martin had been a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church since 1930. She was an avid flower gardener and a C.B. Operator, and was known to many as "Snowball". In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by 6 brothers, James, June C., Tom, Joseph, E.H., and Bill Stafford, and by a sister Mary Stafford.
