Mr. Nathan “Nate” Malloy Lisenby, age 41, entered into rest on Monday, June 27, 2022 at his home. A private family service and burial will be held at David’s Grove Baptist Church in Chesterfield, SC.

Anyone is welcome to stop by Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM to view and pay their respects.

Mr. Lisenby was born January 26, 1981 in Chesterfield, SC a son of David Eugene Lisenby, Jr. and Donna Sue Hancock Lear. He was a 1999 graduate of Chesterfield High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball and football. Nathan was the owner and operator of Dirt Daubers construction of Indian Trail. He served as President of the board of directors for Porter Ridge Athletic Association, where he was affectionately known as “Coach Nate.” Nathan was an avid Carolina Gamecocks football fan and also enjoyed traveling and cooking for friends while hosting get-togethers.

Mr. Lisenby was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David & Doziene Lisenby.

Survivors include his son, Cameron Lisenby; daughter, Scarlett Lisenby; companion, Ashley Jones all of the home; mother, Donna (Ken) Lear of Chesterfield, SC; father, David Lisenby of Chesterfield, SC; sisters, Meagan (Rev. Brandon) Ard of Cheraw, SC, and Monica Lisenby of Charlotte, NC; maternal grandparents, Lloyd & Sylvia Hancock of Chesterfield, SC; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins including Jennifer (Kent) Hurst, and son, Gabe Hurst all of Chesterfield, SC, and Adam Hurst of Georgia; in addition to a large group of extended family and great friends.
